Thank You Realities Riders for Making Every Mile Help A Child!
Realities Ride & Rally Celebrates Freedom by helping children in need.
This Memorial Day Weekend thousands of Realities Riders came from all over the State and Beyond to honor Memorial day weekend and help to reach ever further into the darkness of child abuse. Even the Young Realities Riders came out to make a difference as our Innaugural Young Realities Riders Patriotic Bicycle parade was a tremendous success!
On behalf of all the children this event helps to serve and our army of dedicated volunteers to this years event 'Thank You' for making this weekend one to remember!
We are collecting final numbers on funds raised and bikes on the ride and will be posting these numbers, all our contest winners and photos from this years ride in the gallery in the coming week.
The Winner of the Worlds Largest Poker Run and the Tri-City Cylce $1,500 cash prize was Tom Arnold as he held a 7 and 10 of Hearts to make a Jack High - Straight Flush of Hearts!
Congrats to all our weekends winners and to everyone who made the Realities Ride a priority this past weekend for the children we serve!
For the past 14 years, Realities Ride & Rally has been held on Memorial Day Weekend in Fort Collins, CO. This is where the 'biking' community comes together to honor all those Americans in military service who gave all, so that we may celebrate freedom. Their sacrifice is honored by enjoying the freedom of the ride - and by coming together for the common cause of bringing hope to local children who have been abused, neglected or who are at risk.
It’s an event unlike any other in Northern Colorado - and the Realities Ride has become the single largest Poker Run in the entire world (as substantiated by the Guinness Book of World Records and Elite World Records in 2013). Even more impressive is the fact that this group of thousands of 'Realities Riders' led by Combat Vets and Bikers Against Child Abuse raises over $100,000 in Emergency Funding for children in Northern Colorado who have been abused or neglected.
This Ride has grown into an amazing 2-day Community Rally, and the event invites everyone in our community- biker and non-biker alike. This festival-type of event brings together the appreciation for veterans and those who gave all for our freedom, and the desire to help children who have been silenced by abuse. Join us this Memorial Day Weekend in celebration of freedom, of our service men and women, of veterans who served our country, in thanks to those who sacrificed all, and in an overall effort to serve children who have been abused or neglected. 100% of the proceeds raised at this event go directly to the children served by Realities For Children Charities.
The Realities Ride & Rally has something for everyone!
