MANAGED FUNDS:
Realities For Children has created four not-for-profit funds that provide
further services for abused and at-risk youth in Larimer County. |
Realities For Children's Nonprofit Funds
Realities For Children has established charitable funds 501c3 public charities to further extend our reach in providing services for abused, neglected and at-risk children in Larimer County. Gifts made to these funds are tax deductible and provide new ways people can get involved in helping the youth we serve. By accepting direct donations and fundraising dollars, in addition to membership support toward this growing need, we are able to provide for countless more children in our community who have slipped through the cracks of the system.
Realities For Children Charities Fund
This Fund is filled each year through multiple fundraising events, Realities For Children Charities hosts, and private donor dollars. Fundraising events include: the Realities Ride & Pre-Ride Rally, Realities Cup Invitational Golf Tournament and NightLights. Keeping Dreams Alive and the Annual Member Appreciation Dinner are also two events that benefit from the Realities For Children Charities' Fund. Although these two are not fundraising events, financial contributions are used to help grant the wishes of children within the systems during Realities For Children's Member Appreciation Dinner "Keeping Dreams Alive" program. For more specific event information, visit www.RealitiesRide.com, www.RealitiesCup.com ,www.GiveaNightLight.com and www.DreamYouCan.com.
The RFCC Fund also provides emergency funding to multiple youth agencies when all other resources have been exhausted or unavailable. Emergency funding provides financial assistance when there are no other resources available. This resource is accessible to the following agencies that serve abused children. This fund is also used towards sponsoring 17 different Affiliate Agencies' fundraising events and programs and benefits over 1,400 children each December alone.

TRIUMPH AWARD SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Triumph Award Scholarship Fund is an endowment designed to provide recipients with educational scholarships. The Triumph Awards recognize and honor exceptional youth in our community who have not only survived the adversities of childhood abuse, but have triumphed over them personally, academically and socially. We are currently working to create a $500,000 Triumph Awards Scholarship Endowment, which will provide $50,000 in collegiate scholarships every two years. This fund is managed and housed at the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado. www.triumphawards.com
INSPIRATION PLAYGROUND FUND
The Inspiration Playground Fund was designed primarily as a capital building fund to help finance, build and maintain a universally accessible playground in Ft. Collins. Universal Accessibility. This playground is 100% accessible to disabled as well as able-bodied children.
The creation of the Inspiration Playground allows every child in our community, regardless of ability, to participate equally in play activities. It is the first of its kind in Colorado and one of only 40 in the United States. Located at the newest city park in southwest Ft. Collins, Inspiration Playground's Grand Opening was October 27th 2007. After the completion of this playground, this Fund was turned over to the City of Fort Collins. www.inspirationplayground.com
